Pros: It worked.
Cons: MS forced me to buy a new product key after I upgraded my system, so it was either buy a legit key, or an alternative key. I have been a Microsoft Channel Partner for about 20 years now, and I'm not happy about the direction MS has taken with Windows. This is the first time I have been forced to buy a new product key following a system upgrade. Since Windows 7, the MS license agreement explicitly states that replacing a motherboard constitutes a 'new' computer and so MS may require a new Windows license.
However, I have never had that actually happen with a client's computer or my own computer until now.
For some of my business clients running another OS rather than Windows isn't an option. For others, I'll be suggesting Linux Mint Cinnamon as an alternative whenever feasible.
Overall Review: Over three days, I spent roughly 9 1/2 hours on the phone with MS trying to resolve this issue. Support kept promising me a new activation key for free, but never delivered. For anyone building a new system for personal use or a client, I'd really take a hard look at open source alternatives to Microsoft products.
Pros: Got my key in good time went in with no problem activated my windows without a hitch
Microsoft Oem Opk Windows 10 Update
Cons: nothing not to like its windows
Overall Review: great product
Pros: It's digital.
Customer support tries hard to resolve, but there is a delay if you get an invalid key.
Cons: We have purchased several OEM activation keys over the last few years. It really is hit or miss whether you get one that works or not. In April 2019 we purchased three keys, one failed. In June 2019 we purchased five keys, one failed. It's literally a roll of the dice as to the validity. Seriously, we will be sourcing our Windows keys from Microsoft directly from now on. Going through the hassle of phone calls, screenshots of emails and product code errors does not make up for the small amount of money saved.
Overall Review: Would NOT purchase ever, ever EVER again from this vendor.
Buyer beware! Don't believe me... just scroll down through the reviews and see the pattern.
Pros: good window very easy-to-use , I use it for gaming and never down on me .
Cons: nothing
Pros: None.
Cons: First key didn't work. Almost a week to get another key, still didn't work. Called Microsoft and they told me that they key I was given was actually for Windows 8.
Microsoft Oem Opk Windows 10 Reviews
Pros: 1 - They e-mailed me something...
Cons: 1 - It was an invalid key.
2 - Customer Service is A) incredibly difficult to reach and B) does not seem interested in addressing the issue.
Overall Review: The rant below is valid feedback because this product is not a unique installation key, as you would get if you bought the physical product. It is an OEM-style mass installation key (one key, many uses). That would be fine it Newegg kept track of how many times they sold a key, but apparently they don't. Thus, for all of the comments of 'it worked for me,', you get stories like this. And others.
Purchased the 'product' and received the e-mail pretty quickly. Tried to use the activation key, and was rejected. Spent a number of hours trying various methods (full-on reinstall, 'repairing' the key, and 'trouble shooting'), but nothing worked. After an hour with Microsoft support (40 minutes waiting, 20 or so with the guy actually trying to help). Finally, he told me the key I was using was invalid because it had exceeded its number of installations. I tried two times to chat with what seems to be the one person who covers that duty in the evening. Then waited an hour on hold with phone customer service, which started with 'You didn't get a case number when you called Microsoft? Oh, yeah... we are going to need that.' We then negotiated new requirements, which was a 'screenshot' of the e-mail with the product key (you couldn't look the sales information up?) and screenshots of the process failing (for what, the 15th time?). Fine. I submitted those that evening. I expected some response the next morning, because, well, promises. Nothing. Three days later? Nothing.
So, it seems that at the end of the day, I am out the $150 I paid for the invalid key plus whatever it cost me to get a truly functional key. Bummer.
Pros: - None
Cons: - Key did not work
Overall Review: Not only did the key not work, Microsoft had it blacklisted since April. Needless to say, we will be buying all of our keys from more reliable vendors going forward.
Pros: No Pros
Cons: Did Not Work! Don't Buy Ever.
Overall Review: Waste of Money.
